This is the page of "The Anti-Candida Diet". The items to stop eating are listed, and are simple and effective. The information I have read says that when you stop giving the candida food to sustain itself, your immune system can kill it in 3 DAYS. You must do ALL the things listed for this to work.
A daily record of what you do and when will be helpful when you first start. After you get into the swing of things you won't need a reminder as much.

The items below are the basic things you should start doing to modify your diet. Remember, that many foods can cause allergic reactions to your body. When you stop consuming these irritants, you will not get the immune response. If you get a flare up after eating a certain food, stop eating that food. It really is this simple.

SUNLIGHT - Start getting at least 20 minutes of sunlight in your eyes and face every day. DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN. I mean to look in the direction of the sun. This has been proven to actually change the chemistry in your brain ! Amazing !!
As far as food goes, here is the begining of a new way of eating:

Number 1. Stop eating SUGAR. This is one of the most important things to do. You will lose the cravings for sugar after a few days.

Number 2. Stop consuming alcoholic beverages.

Number 3. Stop tobacco use. I know this is a difficult one, but the less you smoke, the more oxygen is in your blood, which will keep your body tissue alive and stop invading bacteria that thrive in anaerobic environments from getting stronger.

Number 4. Stop eating DAIRY products. Don't worry about getting enough calcium. There are many foods to get calcium from besides dairy foods,and the calcium you get from other foods such as salmon and tuna is more absorbable by your body.

Number 5. Stop eating grains for the first 9 months at the least. Many people have problems breaking down the glutens that are in grains, especially wheat.

Number 6. Stop eating anything with MSG, which is monosodium glutamate. This will cause pain and flaring as soon as it gets into your blood stream. READ labels on your food packages.

Number 7. Nightshades. This is a group of plants that include tomatoes, potatoes,, eggplant, and asparagus.
Tobacco is also a night shade plant.

8. Stop eating EGGS. The protein in the egg yolk will cause you to flare up. The white of the egg, ( the albumen ), is OK for you to eat. There are a lot of egg substitutes in the grocery store these days that are good to eat, and don't have any yolk parts in them. It was great eating scrambled eggs again when I discovered them.

9. No Oranges - These cause Arthritics to flare up. You should drink grapefruit juice or lemon juice.

You must broaden your diet. You need to start giving your body material to make new cells. The human body was designed to use these types of food listed below.
Start EATING these types of foods:

1. Seafood If you are one who dislikes seafoods, just eat tuna. Almost everyone likes tuna.

2. Some type of vegetables. Pick one that you like, or at least tolerate if you are not a person who eats vegetables.
There are many good vegetables, and all contain healing elemets that will help your body rebuild itself.

3. Fruits, but only an apple at the end of the day to start. We want to get your body healing first, and vegetables and seafood are the best things to start with, fruits can be included later.

4. Nuts _ All types of nuts. Except cashews for arthritics. These seem to irritate many arthritic peoples condition.

5. Supplements A multi-vitamin is fine. I recommend the Emergen C's from Alacer Corporation. This is a vitamin package that you mix with water. The vitamin C is in a molecular bond with minerals, making mineral ascorbates. This is the type of vitamin C that the human body can USE.
I was amazed when I first took this vitamin. The edema ( swelling )in my legs went down within an hour.
Another great supplement for arthritics by Alacer is called : Calcium Asporotates This is a type of calcium that is ABSORBABLE by arthritics. It contains calcium citrate, calcium orotate, and calcium aspartate. These three types of calcium are the best types for arthritcs. It does NOT have calcium carbonate. That is the worst kind of calcium for arthritcs to consume.
